Mollie English – Capilano Blues

English directed the Blues offence from her setter position all weekend, helping Capilano to a home sweep of the Douglas Royals. The Vernon product totaled 31 assists in Friday night’s 3-0 win and went over the 40 mark in a Saturday match that went the full five sets. She had three blocks Saturday and was also credited with 11 digs for the weekend, as the Blues set a new program record for consecutive wins to start a season as the team is now 12-0.
