Kara Chan – Douglas Royals

In a key matchup with playoff positioning on the line, Kara Chan had one of her best weekends of the season leading the Douglas Royals to an important sweep of the COTR Avalanche to get back into the playoff discussion. On Friday Night, she totaled 12 kills, six aces, eight digs and two blocks. Then on Saturday night she recorded 10 more kills, five digs, had a block and a service ace guiding her team to a pair of victories. With the four points they captured this weekend, the Royals suddenly find themselves in a third-place tie in the standings with six matches remaining in the regular season.
