Mackenzie Cox – VIU Mariners

The fifth-year veteran point guard was the calming presence on the floor this past weekend helping her Mariners to back-to-back titles with a pair of wins.   In their two playoff games she tallied 17 points, grabbed seven rebounds, seven assists and three steals.  She played suffocating defence on her check and was always a threat on the offensive side with the ball in her hands.  Following the tournament she was named the championship MVP.
