Kieran Paauwe – VIU Mariners

Kieran Paauwe, Mariners fourth year, middle blocker started 2026 with an outstanding performance against the Chargers of Camosun College. He was excellent in both matches with an incredible 31 total offensive points from the middle with 18 Kills, nine blocks, four service aces and added a pair of digs over the weekend. His dominating performance helped stabilize VIU’s block defense and added a significant piece the Mariners’ offensive attack with such a strong middle presence on both sides of the ball.
