Boston Thiessen – COTR Avalanche

The third-year setter led COTR to back-to-back clean 3-0 sweeps at home Friday and Saturday during Week 11 of the season. With the two victories over the visiting Camosun Chargers, the Avs clinched first place in the PACWEST regular season standings and Thiessen was instrumental quarterbacking the offence both nights. On Friday he tallied 36 assists, had five digs, a kill and a block as the Avs hit .425 as a team. He then followed up on Saturday with another 36 assists, six digs, three aces and another block in the clinching match.
