Matteo Falcone – Douglas Royals

On Saturday Matteo Falcone played a pivotal role in securing three points in the first of back-to-back games versus Capilano this weekend.  The fifth-year captain helped control the midfield for 90 minutes and was the engine for the Royals offence throughout the match anchoring the attack when he assisted on the 85th minute game winner.  On Sunday Falcone scored two penalty kick goals for the Royals to take an early lead.  The Royals secured a 4-4 draw and Falcone's leadership on and off the field has helped the Royals earn four points out of six on the weekend.
