Taynour Bashghareh – Langara Falcons

Bashghareh was an offensive powerhouse for the Falcons this past weekend, helping his club secure another six-points and was involved in all three Falcons’ goals on Saturday. He opened the scoring with the first goal of the game, as he capitalized on a wonderful ball from teammate Cobe Monte. Shortly after, he would return the favour and assisted Monte on a goal, after a gorgeous crossing pass through the box. Finally, he rifled a shot on goal that just hit the crossbar, allowing teammate Taigo Shimada to capitalize on the eventual game winning goal.

Sunday was a game of attrition, with few scoring opportunities. Bashghareh showed off the defensive side of his two-way game, supporting the Falcons midfield and preventing the Capilano Blues from generating any meaningful momentum.
