Ayman Sahmudden – Douglas Royals

Playing 60 minutes on Saturday, then 80 minutes the next day, Ayman scored two long range goals on Sunday to secure the six-point weekend at VIU to open the season. He created several chances for himself during both matches, contributing to a large number of our attacking opportunities for his teammates. He was a lot to handle for the Mariners backline all weekend, using his size and strength to often hold off two defenders and set up his teammates in the attacking zone.
