PACWEST Men's Soccer Kicks Off
Soccer is back on the PACWEST pitch!
The PACWEST men’s soccer season is here with all four schools playing weekend doubleheaders as the most competitive conference in the CCAA kicks off.

Capilano Blues @ Langara Falcons - 2:30pm - Langley Events Centre | WATCH HERE
The defending champion Falcons open their title defence against the team that was hot on their heels during the regular season in 2024. The Falcons have an excellent core of players back for another run as they try, and repeat as champs for the first time since 2001. The Blues were a very good team a season ago and return several athletes including the PACWEST’s leading scorer Sebastain Cirotto for this year. It’s only Week 1 but both the Falcons and Blues want to make a statement that last year was no fluke.
Douglas Royals @ VIU Mariners – 3:00pm - Q'unq'inuqwstuxw NDSS Turf Field | WATCH HERE
These games are always emotional as the Royals visit the Mariners to open the season in men’s soccer. The Royals are only two seasons removed from winning national gold and won a PACWEST silver last year so expectations are once again high led by veteran head coach Robby Toor. The Royals return a number of key pieces who have experience at the CCAA national championship tournament and will play a major factor this year. The Mariners missed the postseason a year ago and will no doubt be hungry to get back there this year. They have added some key parts to their young squad who now have a season under their belt and could make an immediate impact both offensively and defensively early on.

The scene shifts to Lillooet Park for the second half of the home-and-home weekend doubleheader as the Blues and Falcons play on the real grass for the first time this season.
