Edrielle Asirit – Langara Falcons

Edrielle Asirit was phenomenal for the Falcons in a weekend sweep against the CBC Bearcats. On Thursday, he showed off his playmaking ability, as he came off the bench to lead the Falcons in scoring with 16 points, shooting 54% from the field. More importantly, he also assisted on six of the Falcons baskets as they held off the persistent Bearcats. Then on Saturday, Asirit was even better, as he scored 25 points in only 23 minutes. He shot 67% from the field including an outstanding 5-for-6 from the three-point line. He also added three more assists, and three steals as he led the Falcons to a 14-point come back win. His biggest basket of the evening came in the fourth quarter, with the game tied 92-92 he hit a corner three with 10 seconds remaining in what would be the game winning shot.
