Falcons Advance

The Langara Falcons hit the century mark in a 100-78 victory over the Douglas Royals in the men’s quarterfinal on Thursday night. 

The fourth seeded Falcons shot 50% from the field and 37% from downtown in the win led by Allayasa Bray and his 17 points.  Jas Dhudwal was a force on the offence with 14 points and nine rebounds while Saleem Al-Musa added 14.

The defending champion Royals have their season come to a close shooting 35% from the field and Ben Rabel was simply outstanding with a game high 21 points and 15 rebounds.

The Falcons advance to Friday’s semi-final where they will face the top seeded VIU Mariners.
