Veteran guard Julie Dueck returns for the Bearcats title defence

Coming into the 2025-26 season the CBC Bearcats will attempt to defend their first ever CCAA national championship title when they open the season next week. 

One of the returning players, now entering her fifth and final season who will need to make an impact is Julie Dueck, who decided to return home to Abbotsford last year and enrolled at CBC following a stint at MacEwan University.  She was an important part of their veteran leadership team and will be again, helping the younger student athletes deal with the pressures on the court and in the classroom.

She talks with Ryan Watters about their title run last season and how things are shaping up for the 2025-26 campaign.
