Best in Class with Owen Holscher
He will be a third year student athlete in the fall with the Langara Falcons
Midfielder Owen Holscher of the Langara Falcons men’s soccer team recently completed his sophomore season helping his club to the PACWEST’s best regular season record.
He was an important part of the Falcons on both sides of the pitch this past year and will no doubt have increased responsibility when he begins his third season in September. As a veteran player he will take on a leadership role both on and off the field for the younger generation of Falcons entering collegiate athletics for the first time.
As a kinesiology student athlete, the demands in the classroom will increase as well with effort and workload, something he is already preparing himself for. He has learned several lessons in time management, particularly when the gruelling PACWEST season rolls around in the fall. He has found a groove in his studies to ensure he keeps his grades and performance on the pitch at a high level.
He is a PACWEST Best in Class and speaks with Ryan Watters about how he stays on top of his busy schedule.
