Douglas Royals 3 – 25-18, 21-25, 20-25, 25-20, 15-11
Camosun Chargers 2

For the second straight night the Royals took care of the first place Chargers in five exciting sets. Their offence was led the 19 kills from Max Haronga and 17 from Reid Marriott. Setter Jared Collin quarterbacked the offence with 39 assists while libero John Colobong collected 18 digs.

Surprisingly only one Charger reached double-digits in kills on Saturday as Vitor Periera finished with 11. Starting setter Mack Mravnik did not play.

Capilano Blues 3 – 27-25, 25-17, 19-25, 14-25, 15-12
VIU Mariners 2

The Blues and Mariners also played in an exciting five sets on Saturday with the visitors coming out on top. Justin Yee had a volleyball double-double with 13 kills and 17 digs. Markus Bratsberg was also a major contributor on offence with 12 kills. Setter Simon Friesen finished with 39 assists.

The Mariners were led by their veterans with Braydon Brouwer landing 13 kills and Vedran Obradovich had 10. Setter Keal Prince finished with 27 assists and 12 digs.
