Male Golf Athlete of the Week
James Casorso – UBCO Heat
The Kelowna native captured his first PACWEST tournament of the season after shooting a 69 on Day Two at the Westwood Plateau golf club in Coquitlam. After his opening round, Casorso trailed by two strokes behind Langara’s Jacob Vanderpas but scored a 33 on the front nine on Sunday to overtake the lead and then hold on for the win.

Female Golf Athlete of the Week
Sharon Park – UFV Cascades
The rookie recorded her second win in three starts this season at the Douglas Invitational on the weekend. The Surrey native fired rounds of 76 on Saturday and 80 on Sunday to finish ahead of teammates Jennifer Kell and Hannah Dirksen in the individual standings. Park also leapfrogged Dirksen to take the lead in the cumulative individual race.
