Third year guard Brody Greig had another outstanding weekend for the Langara. The Falcons who are currently ranked 2nd in the Country are sitting at 16-1 in the PACWEST. This weekend Greig shot 47% from the field, 40% from the 3 point line, and 81% from the free throw line.

On Friday night the Langara Falcons faced one of the hottest teams in the PACWEST in the Camosun Chargers, who came in on a 5 game winning streak. The Chargers played a strong first half but still found themselves down 8 at the half. After the half the Falcons picked up the pace and allowed Greig to get out on the fast break where he is most effective. Greig showed off his fantastic passing skills dishing out 15 assists in the game. He also had 8 points and 4 rebounds in a 97 – 72 victory.

On Saturday the Falcons faced off against the 2nd place VIU Mariners, and the Mariners came ready to play as they tried to avenge two previous close losses to the Falcons. The Falcons got off to a slow start, down after a quarter 26 to 19. Greig who kept the game tight with his scoring in the first racking up 9 points. Greig then got the rest of his team involved dishing out 7 assists on his way to a 25 point, 7 assist, 3 steal, and 4 rebound performance in the tightly contested game. The Falcons won 83 - 76.
