The Camosun Chargers have punched their ticket to the semi-finals with a three set sweep of the COTR Avalanche.
Offensively the Chargers had production from a number of players to balance their attack. Player of the Match and PACWEST Rookie of the Year Mika Yamada collected a match high 11 kills and Megan Ireland played strong at the net with nine kills. Setter Katie Wayling was solid with 23 assists.
In a losing effort the Avalanche were led by Mikaela Pushor in her final match with six kills and was named the Player of the Match. Taylor Whittall and Megan Clark chipped in with three apiece.
The Chargers will now face the #2 ranked Douglas Royals on Friday in the semi-final.
