What a rookie season Reid Marriott of the Douglas Royals has put together. Entering the final weekend of the regular season he leads the PACWEST in kills, average kills per set and total offensive points.

He is looking forward to his first PACWEST championship tournament which opens on Thursday February 22 hosted at UFV. The Royals are currently seeded fourth, but are just two points back of the Camosun Chargers for third. They will host the Capilano Blues this weekend in the regular season finale.

On the other side of the coin they are just two points up on the UFV Cascades as well, so this weekend will determine the final playoff positioning.

Regardless for the Royals they will play in a quarterfinal at the PACWEST championship on February the 22nd.

Marriott talks with Ryan Watters about his rookie season and the upcoming championship tournament.
